Without a doubt the best headline I’ve read in years…

Hahaha!

This article is deeply disturbing, and yet at the same time, not particularly surprising.

A gunman in Thailand shot-dead eight neighbours, including his brother-in-law, after tiring of their karaoke versions of popular songs, including John Denver’s Country Roads.

Country Roads is a hugely popular song in south east Asia andthe neighbour said the revellers had been singing it over and over again.

Sheesh, good thing there was no ABBA…!

2015: A banking retrospective

Posted by Rich...! on March 14th, 2008

About 6 months ago one of our clients hired us to consider where banking could go in the future. This is what we came up with.

I’m not saying that it is exactly where we’ll go, but I do believe that it is highly feasable, specifically the loyalty system reference, (very much inspired by the must-read novel, Jennifer Government).

I think Donovan did a great job in paying homage to the brilliant Epic: 2014 re the execution, those guys did such an amazing job that it seemed silly not to execute along these lines…!

The Web has no standards

Found this on The Editblog.

Being involved in TV and web vids over the past few years, this is too true. But we don’t give a crap, do we?

Some may call this selling out, I call it genius.

He’s making money. He gets to punt his latest hit in a different type of media. And he’s cool enough to be able to laugh at himself. Awesome!

Advert dig

Posted by Don on March 3rd, 2008

South Africa, as I’m sure most countries do, has a lot of competition as far as low-cost air travel goes. I spent 2 hours watching Extreme Home Makeover and Ellen on the Series channel before this 1time ad came on again so I could tape it.

They take a big dig at, not only the airlines who add airport tax and the rest of it afterward, but specifically at Kulula.com, by the bright green uniform of the check-in lady.

Another Coke vs Pepsi scenario going on? Awesome.
