Great post Motheo. . . It just seems they believe their own or the one created around them. They've rewritten the rules, no question. As far as a Nobel Prize, that I'd like to see.

Did they say what category it will be under?

That's really sad - sheesh.

Just look through that volunteer page... the responsibilities are pretty intense. 10-13 hour day and night shifts, with 18 shifts a month!

Then you also have to attend and even take daily devotion with staff and volunteers (maybe in your break?)

I was under the impression that volunteering was about helping others for the sake of charity and love... it shouldn't be like a full-time job where only special approved people can join.

Personally, I support groups like The Homestead streetkid projects here in Cape Town - they are happy with any time, any volunteers and any support, and it's also a worth cause.

Dude, I'm with you.

For me choosing to follow or not follow someone is rarely personal. Twitter is a tool that different people use in different ways. I chose to follow people that use it in a similar way to me i.e. as a link feed, (the original web log) with occasional personal tidbits.

I have not interest in feeds that are simply status updates - that's for facebook, so will very rarely follow those people. It's nothing personal though. It's just not my thing.

I also hate reciprocal following. Id far rather that someone doesn't follow me, than if they follow me simply to be nice...!
